Wheat over Sandymouth
Handprinted by me from 5 handcarved jigsaw linocut blocks. Capturing one of my favourite views from my mid run break spot where I take in the sea and cliffs and over the weeks watch the crops grow and mature. Sometimes sunny, mostly raining, whatever the weather this spot always takes my breath away as I try and catch it again before turning back home.
Printed on delicate 60gsm handmade Mitsumata Nepalese washi paper. Made with the inner bark fibre of Mitsumata, also known as Argeli, a sustainable and renewable resource grown in Nepal, creating valuable employment for those living in these areas. Due to the nature of handprinting, each of my prints is unique and distinct and minor variations may occur.
